E-spaces is accelerating, and soon launching sales!

Fundraising!

With the board at e-spaces expanding and the beta application nearing completion, we are almost closing half the funding round even before we open the round. In addition, we have received strong interest from several investors, including from one of the largest venture capital funds in the country, as a result, we are excited to see where the next year will take us.

This is a wonderful opportunity to invest at what is an exciting time for the company.

E-spaces has experienced rapid and significant growth over the past year, which culminated in us winning our first-ever award. Meanwhile, 10 schools signed up to help us on our journey through the BETA testing phase, with Innovate UK providing grant funding for both the BETA testing and the subsequent commercialization process.

Working with Digital Catapult

Digital Catapult recognized our potential as a business that can contribute towards huge economic growth with the right support. They are a UK authority that provides diverse businesses with the services they require to provide answers to their industry’s unique difficulties. Through peer-to-peer networking, mentorship throughout important stages of growth, business strategy, and access to cutting-edge facilities, the companies are helped to grow.

As a catalyst, they provide our company with the resources it requires to flourish. They have also offered mentoring support to ensure we are on the right track toward making learning seamless, fun, and connected. We are grateful to be a part of such a large national innovation community.

Female Founder Accelerator program

We were very happy to accept an invitation to join the Barclays Eagles Labs Female Founder Accelerator, in partnership with AccelerateHER.

AccelerateHER is a vibrant female founder network that shares the passion to accelerate the growth, visibility, and backing of talented female business founders and leaders. This is an exciting opportunity for E-spaces, as over the next eight weeks we will have access to mentors and expert-led masterclasses, plus the opportunity to present our business to a wide audience.

We are looking forward to the opportunity to learn and further solidify our foundations as a business.

SETsquared partnership

We are delighted to have been invited to join the SETsquared scale-up program. SETsquared is the world’s number one business incubator, which has collaborated effectively with six leading research-based universities in the UK to help businesses at all stages of development turn an idea into tangible success.

They are going to provide us with a wide range of high-quality support programs that help us thrive and transform lives in brilliant ways.

This is another step in the right direction for E-spaces as we continue moving full steam ahead towards a brighter future for teachers and students alike.

Our first board meeting

A board of directors is essential for a company to reach its full potential. As a result, our board is expanding. We currently have two members, who met together with our founder, Yvonne, for the first time in January.

Kevin Smith has extensive experience assisting start-ups in becoming established businesses, while Mike Griffin has extensive experience in AI, having worked for governments and blue-chip companies. He will be instrumental in helping develop our AI-driven product that will help with decision-making in lessons and reduce manual marking in schools.

BETT 2023

We are delighted to announce that we will be present at the British Educational Teaching and Technology (BETT) Show 2023 in March, at the ExCeL Centre in London!

BETT brings together thousands of people from across the educational landscape over three days for networking opportunities and showcasing the latest products in Edtech. This is an exciting opportunity for us to exhibit our excellent product to a wide audience, build connections and receive direct feedback from our consumers.

Labeight

We have a new product team, Labeight*, who are collaborating with us to help develop our product. They specialize in supporting start-ups with financial, technical, and operational resources as they grow.

Keep an eye out for the fruits of our work on our social media channels in the coming months!

Our third school in focus is out!

Please take the time to read our latest school in focus, a series that focuses on specific schools and what they do to promote well-being among both staff and students, and how that translates to academic success. This month we look at Angel Oak Academy, in London.

E-spaces in the news

Our work has gained traction elsewhere, with a number of well-regarded education publications excited to help us in sharing the exciting transformation we are bringing into schools!

Check out some guest articles written by E-spaces over the last month:

We continue to BETA test our MVP, which we are keen to be made by teachers and students for teachers and students, and welcome applications from schools who are open to testing e-spaces. Get in touch today before the opportunity to be part of this exciting application closes.

Final Thought 🏁

Distracting messages aside, we believe technology has a huge role to play when it comes to the future of exams and education in general. And, we hope E-Spaces can spearhead this future. Our AI-enabled digital platform ensures a more effective and personalized learning experience that parents and students would appreciate, and teachers would love.
